Student Entertainment

Call for Submissions is now open through Friday, July 15

The Annual Education Conference and Trade Show brings in thousands from California’s education community, offering an excellent opportunity to recognize student success in the arts and showcase California talent! Submissions from orchestras, choral groups, soloists, thespians and other student performers are welcome. Performance time will be approximately 8-10 minutes. Travel and other expenses are the responsibility of the district. Entries will be reviewed and notified of their status in the fall.

Ready to submit a performance?

The CSBA Conference Planning Committee is seeking performers of all ages representing districts of all sizes to perform at CSBA’s 2022 Annual Education Conference and Trade Show general sessions on Thursday, Dec. 1, Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3 in San Diego.

How to submit

You will need to provide the following information:

  • A YouTube link (video title must include the district and group name) of the proposed performance or presentation. We recommend the maximum length of 5 minutes.
  • Student group information including group’s name, description, school information, number of performers and their grade range.
  • Proposed performance details and stage set-up requirements.
  • Contact information for the person/staff who will be on-site with the performers and the number of additional chaperones onsite.

Deadline

Submit a student entertainment performance no later than Friday, July 15, 2022. Submissions received after July 15 will not be accepted.

Important Notes

Submissions must be approved by the school district or county office of education being represented prior to completion. School districts who are not members of CSBA are not eligible to participate.

If your submission is accepted, all costs associated with the performance are the responsibility of the school district or county office of education.
