Where is the Trade Show Floor housed and how large is it?
The AEC Trade Show Floor will be housed on West Hall Level 1 at the San Francisco Moscone West Center, which is approximately 120,000 square feet and will hold 150+ booths.
What are the Trade Show hours?
The Trade Show will be open on Thursday, November 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, December 1 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
What will attract attendees to the Trade Show Floor?
CSBA has reserved dedicated Trade Show times from all other conference programming to give attendees the chance to maximize their conference experience and visit the Trade Show Floor. The CSBA Pavilion on the Trade Show Floor will house interactive displays of services and products, featuring key CSBA staff who can answer member questions. There will be added table talk sessions inside the Trade Show Floor that will garner traffic to exhibitors from members wanting to learn more during these dynamic discussions. Additionally, there is a hosted snack break that will attract attendees to the floor. Lastly, CSBA hosts a general session each day, which draw crowds of attendees that are then funneled to the Trade Show Floor.
Housing Pirates – What Are They and What You Should Do About It
A housing pirate is a company other than Maritz that improperly solicits hotel reservations for this conference. Maritz is the Official Housing Provider for the California School Boards Association.
Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to have lower rates, however, they may be illegitimate, not have the rooms to sell, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to CSBA.
Where do I go to register my booth staff and secure housing?
Visit the exhibitor portal for more information on registering and securing hotel reservations. Your badge credentials can be picked up at the San Francisco Moscone West Center, at the Exhibitor Registration Desk. Please note: CSBA accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover with expiration dates after December 31, 2023.
How many exhibitor badges am I allowed?
Each exhibiting company is allotted three (3) complimentary exhibitor badges per 10′ x 10′ booth space and may purchase up to seven (7) more for $150 each.* Visit the exhibitor registration website to order badges.

How many repeat exhibitors will be at the Trade Show?
More than two-thirds of our Trade Show exhibitors re-book exhibit space with us from year to year. For exhibitors, the AEC Trade Show is a highly successful vehicle for reaching their targeted market. For attendees, this means they will always find something new and exciting on the Trade Show.
Is the Trade Show Floor handicap accessible?
Yes, our Trade Show Floor is handicap accessible.
CSBA’s 2023 Annual Education Conference and Trade Show is accessible to persons using wheelchairs, and to other persons with disabilities for whom reasonable accommodation, such as assistive listening devices for the deaf and informational materials in large print or alternate formats for those with vision-impairment, may be made available, if requested. Please contact us at aec@csba.org. Provide at least 72 hours’ notice to help ensure availability of accommodation.
Persons with health-related considerations such as multiple chemical sensitivities, environmental illnesses, food allergies, or special dietary needs, may also notify aec@csba.org when registering for the conference to determine whether special arrangements can be made for them.

I have ordered my booth/sponsorship. What do I do now?
Please refer to the exhibitor website for additional information, including the Exhibitor/Trade Show Timeline. You may consider embellishing your booth with furnishings and equipment made available to you through Global Experience Specialists (GES), our show decorator, at discounted prices. The 2023 GES decorator kit will be available in August.
Can I order internet for my booth? Is furniture rental available?

Do you offer lead retrieval services in the exhibit hall?
Yes. CSBA will offer Lead Retrieval through Maritz Global Events using the SWAP Mobile App. All attendees will have a QR code on their attendee badge for exhibitors to scan using a device provided by Maritz to integrate to a database for each approved exhibitor’s portal.
Lead Retrieval Options include:
- SWAP Mobile App (up to 3 users) – $579, $599 after 11/30/23
- Additional Mobile App Users – $149 each
Lead Retrieval can be purchased during or after an exhibitor has secured their booth space with our event coordinator or directly with Maritz Global Events.
Do you provide an attendee list?
Yes. We will email the attendee list to all exhibitors on November 1, 2023. A post-conference list will be emailed to exhibitors one week after AEC. The emails will be sent to the primary contact on file for your company. Please note, the attendee list will only include those that opted to share their information.
